Calvin Daniel Scott

Calvin Daniel Scott, 57, of the New Roe Community passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green.  The Indianapolis, IN native was a former construction worker and a son of Calvin Jearle Scott, who survives and the late Mable Lee Blankenship Scott.

He is survived by 2 sons: Chris Scott, New Roe Community; Kevin Scott, Fairfield Community;

1 daughter: Jessica York, Adolphus, KY;

His father: Calvin Scott, Adolphus, KY;

1 brother: Danny Scott and wife, Linda, Franklin, KY;

12 grandchildren: Alexis Scott, Korbin Patrick, Brison Mitchell, Abigayle Scott, Josh Scott, Jr., Kyson Scott, Ally Cascaden, Autumn Scott, Gunner Scott, Kinsleigh Scott, Timothy York and Rylee Meador.

1 great grandchild: Clayton Patrick.

He was preceded in death by 1 son: Joshua Scott; 1 sister: Mary Sue South and 1 granddaughter: Averlee Scott.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Lutterman and Bro. Russell Mills officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
